Earlier this year, it was announced that the popular bar wouldn’t be part of the 2019 fesitivities after six years in Sheffield.
Despite the disappointment, it was quickly announced that a new Alpine Bar would be taking its place.

Not only can you get mulled wine, hot spiced gin and hot toffee apple cider at the bar, you can also use their ‘posh’ new toilets.
In previous years, customers raised complaints about the outside Porterloos so William Percival Events decided to change that.
Speaking to Vibe, Julie Wilson of Percival Events, said: “Every year we like to change things and the comments have been that the markets have been a bit samey, so we just wanted to mix things up a bit.

The Alpine Bar will be open to thirsty shoppers from 10am to 10pm every day from November 14 up until Christmas Eve.
Santa’s Grotto will also be returning, as will the popular Big Wheel, with a bigger and better Thor’s Tipi Bar set to open on Friday, November 22.
