Student doctors from the University of Sheffield hosted the annual drop-in session for children and their families at Theatre Deli Sheffield this weekend.
The event was an interactive, fun-filled session aimed to reduce childhood anxiety about hospitals and doctors, and to promote child health – as well as giving student doctors valuable experience with children.

Teddy Bear Hospital is also a great way to get children thinking about their health, with interactive workshops on everything from healthy eating, hygiene and exercise.
Dr Alisha, one of Sheffield’s ‘Teddy Doctors’ said: “Teddy Bear Hospital is an amazing student led project which has been running in partnership with Sheffield Volunteering at the Students’ Union since 2013.
“Last year 93 student volunteers got involved to help make the event a fun and educational day.
“In addition to our large event, our team also co-ordinate a number of smaller, school and community-based sessions across Sheffield throughout the academic year.”
