It’ll be five years in May since the boyhood Blade took over his beloved club and the vast majority of that time has been glory-filled, with victory over Bristol Rovers in the FA Cup at the weekend marking an impressive milestone to give boss Wilder a record of 100 wins, 44 draws and 70 defeats.
To mark the feat, our Sheffield United writers James Shield and Danny Hall have picked out, in order of preference, their Top 10 victories under Wilder’s stewardship.

1. DANNY HALL: September 24, 2017 - 4-2 v Sheffield Wednesday (A)
No description really necessary. First season back in the Championship, with Wednesday licking their lips and talking about giving out a thrashing. Not against this side. John Fleck set the tone early on, Leon Clarke returned to haunt his old club and Mark Duffy sealed his place in Blades folklore, forevermore. Photo: Simon Bellis
2. March 16, 2019 - 1-0 v Leeds United (A)

3. April 8, 2017 - 2-1 v Northampton Town (A)
Just pipping the final game of that season, which saw the 100-point mark reached, Northampton away is a game that will live long in the memory for anyone who was fortunate enough to be there. The pitch invasions that greeted both goals, the celebrations on the pitch afterwards, Sharp being hoisted aloft for that iconic image with his scarf. Spine-tingling stuff. Photo: David Klein
4. March 12, 2019 - 2-0 v Brentford (H)
Down to ten men after 35 minutes when Gary Madine was sent off, United were under the pump against a brilliant Brentford team before Wilder made a brave tactical switch, throwing on another striker. It worked, with David McGoldrick scoring a late second, and the roar that greeted that goal was remarkable Photo: Simon Bellis
