Boro won on their last trip to Sheffield as they picked up a 2-1 victory in the final game of the 2019/20 campaign, and they head into this week’s game on the back of three consecutive wins in which they’ve scored eight goals.
But Warnock, who has a mixed record at Hillsborough, knows that it’ll be a difficult game for his side, especially following the arrival of Tony Pulis at Wednesday.

“We’ll be ready and prepared for it. We don’t want another Stoke or Preston.”
He also told the media of his team’s plan for the trip to S6, saying, “We're going down to Sheffield on Tuesday morning and having a sleep in the afternoon rather than the night before. I thought Preston was too long a day.
“The postponement does give us a breather but I'm not sure this group wants it.”
