Eagle-eyed Sheffield Wednesday supporters have noticed a welcome double boost in the club’s injury circumstances after behind-the-scenes snaps were shared of Tuesday’s training session.

Photos of a rainy Middlewood Road session featured forward Mallik Wilks, who appears to have rejoined training with the bulk of the squad having come through what was described by Owls boss Darren Moore as an impact injury.

Wilks missed out on Wednesday’s win at Accrington Stanley over the weekend alongside George Byers and Liam Palmer.
