Former Liverpool and Burnley attacker Marley Blair and former Crystal Palace midfielder Giovanni McGregor have been training with the club for over a week and both featured in last night’s 1-0 defeat at Hull City.
And despite both impressing in their time with Lee Bullen’s under-23 side, The Star can reveal that the club have decided not to extend their stays with the club.

Hide AdBlair, 20, was lively in his two appearances – against Barnsley and in the match last night – while playmaker McGregor, 21, played all 90 minutes at the KCOM Stadium.
It is understood that the pair were told in meetings with the club this morning that despite their ‘considerable talent’, they didn’t see an immediate route to first team football in their positions at this time.
Meanwhile new forward Korede Adedoyin, formerly of Everton, made his debut at Hull but was sent off late in the defeat for a high challenge.
He remains the only new external signing for the club’s under-23 squad, who look likely to add old faces in the coming weeks as the Owls’ departure from the Carabao Cup was confirmed.
