No top four tier team has had more league goalscorers (16) than Garry Monk's side this term.
It is an impressive stat and proves Wednesday, who currently occupy eighth place, two points adrift of the play-off placings, have strength in numbers.
And if Monk gets his way and manages to add to their attacking ranks in the January transfer window, it will only boost the Owls’ hopes of securing a top-six finish.

Hide Ad“When you lose your top goal scorer (Fletcher) - and those goals - but not just that, the way he was performing, of course it’s a blow,” conceded Monk.
“We have to deal with that, and if we can help in the window, we will.
“It probably puts more emphasis on that side of things. Also, it’s for people to step up to the plate, with an opportunity and prove they can do that.”
