Garry Monk's side, who lie fifth in the Championship, are currently on a seven-match unbeaten streak at Hillsborough. Only Queens Park Rangers have left South Yorkshire with maximum points this season - their 2-1 success coming at the end of August.
Confidence is high in the Owls' camp after three victories from their last four matches and Sky Sports’ EFL pundit David Prutton has tipped Monk's men to beat the Robins 2-1 this weekend.

Hide AdSpeaking in his Sky Sports prediction column, Prutton said: "All Sheffield Wednesday can do with this potential points deduction is keep on going into every game trying to get the win and see what happens in the future. And they are making a decent fist of that right now.
"Bristol City have slipped out of the top six after back-to-back defeats and Lee Johnson will be frustrated with their recent performances. This is a chance for them to bounce back, but I think they'll be beaten at Hillsborough."
Wednesday, linked with a number of forwards since their 4-0 thumping of Nottingham Forest last weekend, including Liverpool's Rhian Brewster and Charlton Athletic's Lyle Taylor, face a Bristol side who will be looking to avoid a third straight defeat.
"They have consistently been up and around the play-offs in the last few years," said Monk. “It will be a tough game and we know we will have to be at our best.”
