The Owls were beaten 2-1 on Wednesday evening by Paul Warne’s Millers at Hillsborough, but they won’t be able to build on that result this weekend after it was confirmed that their fixture against Brentford will not be going ahead.
Rotherham revealed that they have experienced a number of positive cases, and therefore opted to postpone the fixture until a future date.

“Having consulted with club and EFL doctors and following discussions with Brentford, the club have been advised to postpone Saturday’s clash against the Bees.”
Wednesday had two games postponed earlier in the season due to a COVID outbreak at Middlewood Road where a number of people at the club tested positive, but there have been no suggestions that Rotherham’s situation will affect the Owls.
Like other clubs across the English Football League, Darren Moore’s side are being tested twice a week at present with almost immediate results, and The Star is under the impression that there’s nothing to worry about at this stage.
