Pulis will be hoping to get one over on Cooper this week as the Owls face Swansea at the Liberty Stadium tomorrow evening, but that didn’t stop him from speaking incredibly highly of the Swans boss.
Cooper has been with Swansea for around 18 months now, and has got them back in the Play-Off places once again after 12 games after they narrowly missed out on promotion last time out.

Speaking to the media after the 1-0 defeat to Preston North End at the weekend, Pulis said, “I think the manager has done an absolutely fantastic job there… If you look at the recruitment - and lets not forget the players he’s sold - it’s been very, very good. It suits what Swansea want to do, and I think an identity for a football club is very important.
“You look at Swansea, and the manager, and they’ve put an identity together. I think he’s done an exceptional job.”
And it doesn’t get much easier, with the Swansea game being followed by home ties against Stoke City and Reading before away trips to both Norwich City and Huddersfield Town.

Wednesday need to try and get back to winning ways as they seek to try and clamber up out of the Championship relegation zone, but in order to do that they’ll need to do something that they haven’t done since way back in 1983 – beat Swansea away.
The Owls face the Swans at 7.45pm tomorrow night as Pulis takes charge of his first away game since joining SWFC.
