The interim boss has agreed to continue his role until the end of the current season, after the former club captain took the reigns following the sacking of Steve Morison back in September.
“They are a good team, under Paul Heckingbottom,” Hudson said of United, who travel to South Wales third in the Championship table. “They have some good players. We have to be much better than we were on Tuesday night. We want to go into the break on a high.”

"For the staff, the players and for everyone involved it is some clarity which is what we needed. It's in the process of being drawn up. Hopefully with the quick turnaround we will probably look for it all to be done by Saturday."
United will face two players bound for the Qatar World Cup after Rubin Colwill and Mark Harris were named in former Blade Rob Page’s Wales squad for the tournament.
"What an achievement,” Hudson said. “As soon as the announcement was made I was on the phone to message them both. It's huge for the football club and huge for Wales to have them in the squad.”
