VIDEO: Flooding hits two streets in Sheffield suburb

The flooding is currently affecting Pomona Street and Summerfield Street in Broomhall.

A video shared by Twitter user Charlotte Drohan shows cars turning round to avoid the floodwater.

She said: “Stay safe Sheffield people. Very high water around Summerfield/Pomona street.”

In November, Sheffield was hit by torrential rain which caused flooding across the city.

Despite raining heavily today, the current weather forecast indicates only light rain this evening.
