Yobs set fire to a pile of litter off Manor Park Crescent, Manor Top, at just after 7pm. Arsonists struck about an hour later by setting fire to more litter at Sandy Bridge Lane in Shafton, Barnsley. A crew from Cudworth Fire Station extinguished the blaze. Firefighters from Barnsley Central Fire Station dealt with the blaze. Some bushes and part of a fence were damaged in an arson attack outside a home in Silverdale, Dinnington, at 9.45pm. A crew from Aston Fire Station extinguished the blaze. Firefighters from Elm Lane Fire Station extinguished the flames.
