Sheffield Schools triumph in British Orienteering Championships - why don't you give it a go?
Seventy children from 16 different Sheffield Schools competed at Birmingham, winning four team awards, four individual gold medals plus a silver and a bronze. The success of the Sheffield Schools can be attributed to the flourishing Sheffield Schools Orienteering League which is now in its fourth year. And newcomers are invited to the next league event, this Saturday (November 26) from 1-3pm in the Botanical Gardens. All welcome including complete beginners – just turn up on the day.
