Shakespeare is reborn at Sheffield libraries
The Central Children’s Library in Surrey Street was one of the first in the city to host Shakespeare-themed activities during the Easter school holidays.
Visitors took part in writing workshops and games as they discovered more about the famous poet and playwright, 400 years after his death.

Hide AdThe free events will continue until the end of March at the following libraries:
Highfield Library, Wednesday, March 23, 1pm; Chapeltown Library, Thursday, March 24, 1pm; Hillsborough Library, Wednesday, March 30, 1pm; and Ecclesall Library, Thursday, March 31, 1pm.

A Tudor trail is taking place through the Central Library building on Thursday, March 24, from 10am to 2pm. No booking required. And gaming sessions for children over five will be held at various city libraries this week.
