Serious collision at a Peak District village

A serious collision involving four vehicles and three pedestrians closed a road in a Peak District village.

The A6187 Main Road at Hathersage was forced to shut on Monday and motorists had to follow a diversion.

First’s 272 bus service also needed to be re-routed via Ladybower and Manchester Road.

Main Road was open again by 3pm.
