RATING: How we scored Sheffield Wednesday players after dire defeat to Bolton Wanderers
Here's how we rated their performances...
JOE WILDSMITH - 5
Made a couple of decent saves but almost gave away another with some not-too-nifty footwork while trying to play it out from the back
JACK HUNT - 5
Barely in the game from an offensive point of view and most of Bolton's threat came down the other side
JOOST VAN AKEN - 4

Hide AdGiven a tough time by Gary Madine and while Madine can be tough to play against, he's hardly Ibrahimovich. Didn't look anywhere near as composed on the ball as we've seen but there were also few players showing for him
TOM LEES - 4
Lost too many headers, was desperate in possession at times, with some poor passing and got sucked in by Bolton's attack on too many occasions
ADAM REACH - 4
Improved in the second half especially going forward but was absolutely torn to shreds in the first half by Sammy Ameobi who gave him the runaround
ROSS WALLACE - 3
Barely on the ball in the first half and offered very little before being taken off at the break
KIERAN LEE - 5

Hide AdScored a scrappy goal and should have got a penalty but this was not one of his classic box-to-box performances
DAVID JONES - 3
A car crash for the first goal as he slipped while rushing in to stop Ameobi and his passing was way, way off. Also taken off at the break
BARRY BANNAN - 6
The only shining light and even that was pretty dim. Never shirked, always wanted the ball and attempted to make things happen but was offered little support with Bolton's midfield running the show
GARY HOOPER - 4
Forced to come far too deep to get the ball, to their credit Bolton shackled him well and gave him nothing to work with
STEVEN FLETCHER - 3
A virtual passenger for the majority of the game
SUBSTITUTIONS
SAM HUTCHINSON - 5

Hide AdTypically combative and always wanted the ball to try and get Wednesday going. Made a great block to prevent a goal then scored an OG
JORDAN RHODES - 3
Let it not be said that Jordan Rhodes doesn't get the service. He had two gilt-edged chances and passed up on both - the first right in front of goal was terrible. Unfortunately stretchered off near the end
LUCAS JOAO - 4
In typical fashion looked energetic for a while, had a decent chance which was well saved then he disappeared from the game
