“What about other types of market for Moorends – a German market. Let’s have a bit of fun.
“Get local businesses to put stalls on and let’s be positive.
“Moorends has been forgotten by successive governments over the last number of decades. What has Moorends had from the government? Not a lot.

The Brexit Party is fielding candidates in all three Doncaster constituencies at the General Election and last week, leader Nigel Farage came to town to lend his support to local parliamentary hopefuls.
He made his latest visit to Doncaster Racecourse where he addressed a crowd of supporters who paid £2.50 each to hear the Brexit Party leader speak.
Last month, the party opened its very first party headquarters in Doncaster, with ‘Guy Fawkes’ opening the new HQ next door to the Earl of Doncaster Hotel in Bennetthorpe.

Anti-Brexit slogans including ‘immigrants welcome’ and “Doncaster people want a people’s vote’ were sprayed on the exterior of the building on Remembrance Sunday.
Another slogan suggested the Brexit Party is being funded by Russia, in reference to allegations the party is being backed by Russian donors.
