Police called out to World War Two shell find near Sheffield
Emergency services alongside specialist bomb squads, were called to an area off Hathersage Road in the Fox House area around 9.50pm on Thursday night.
A cordon was put up and roads were shut off as a precautionary measure.

Hide AdA South Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “Emergency services were called to the Fox House area at about 9.50pm last night, following the discovery of a suspected World War Two shell.
“Officers attended the scene and the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team confirmed that it was a shell.
“It was deemed that there was no risk to the wider community, however a cordon was in place overnight until the EOD attended this morning to deal with the item.
“The shell has since been removed and the cordon has been lifted.”
