PICTURES AND VIDEO: 'Hit-and-run' claims as police seal off area close to Sheffield city centre
There are six police cordons in place around Hodgson Street, Thomas Street and Headford Street in Broomhall this morning.
Police have not revealed what happened yet but a woman who works in a cafe close to the scene said: "I heard it was a hit-and-run but I don't know much more than that."

This incident comes a week after nearby Headford Grove was also sealed off by police officers after a shooting in a separate incident.
During that incident two men were injured in a gun attack.
One man, aged 24, suffered injuries to his upper body while the second man, also aged 24, suffered injuries to his lower body.
We have asked South Yorkshire Police for more information about this latest incident and are waiting for them to get back to us.
