The bystander, who did not want to be named, said: “I was walking through the park just getting my essentials and doing my daily walk/run and care routine and suddenly this huge car comes out of nowhere, off Darnall Main Road, right onto the playground and down the hill, onto Wilfred road to get to Attercliffe and possibly Tinsley, Burngreave, Tesco or Page Hall is up that way, but they didn't need to drive through the park as they could have gone further down the road they just came off and they would have been on Attercliffe Common anyway.”
They added: “Driving recklessly, down an enormous hill and for no good reason was very dangerous and their [sic] could have been kids off school running in the park! It caused danger to the local community.”
