Sheffield Weather: Here’s what’s forecast for Wednesday January 4

Forecasters at the Met Office expected heavy rain first thing this morning from 7am, but predicted that would clear by 8am, giving way to cloud.

The cloud is then forecast to clear by 9am, with sun or sunny intervals throughout the day. But light showers are expected to return later in the evening, at around 6pm.

Temperatures are expected to be around 11C, falling to 9C at 11pm, with daytime wind speeds between 19 and 16mph.
