Liam Allen was getting ready for bed when he went into a fit from which he never recovered on the evening of Saturday, November 23.
He was rushed to hospital where doctors worked through the night to save him, but the next day his family made the heart-wrenching decision to turn off his life support machine.

Now mum and dad, Paula and Dave, are spearheading a campaign to erect a memorial garden in honour of their son, to help his siblings in their grief.
A gofundme page, which has been set up by a family friend, describes how the family are struggling to come to terms with Liam’s death.
The tribute to Liam would be in a corner of the families garden, and will be a place for Graci, 5 and Levi, 4, to play and be close to their big brother.

“Somewhere they can go to anytime they want or just be near to while they play.
“They used to have so much fun in our garden together and Liam would always be looking out for them.
“We want to create something special, a nice place at home where they can play safely and a memorial area where they can sit and talk to and remember Liam aka Sprout.”

“The memorial garden will be a nicer place for them to remember Liam than his grave, and they will be able to play in the garden where they spent a lot of time together.”
Paula added: “It would be lovely for them to have their own little place at home where they feel comfortable and already have memories of Liam around them.”
