Instead of swapping presents with each other, officers from South Yorkshire Police helped spread some Christmas cheer elsewhere after a difficult 2020 and personally delivered the gifts on Monday (21 December).
Roads Policing sergeant and organiser Brandon Brown said: “This year, given the financial and medical struggles faced by people during the Covid-19 pandemic, we wanted to help make a little person’s Christmas wish come true.

No fewer than 65 presents were donated to Sheffield Children’s.
Each gift was labelled whether it was intended for a boy or a girl and what age group.
Sargeant Brown added: “We hope the children receiving the presents, along with everyone across South Yorkshire, has a wonderful Christmas.
