Letter: Religious references

The London School of Economics has, in its wisdom, decided, to rename their term names, as some are too Christian… examples are, Easter becomes spring and Christmas becomes winter.

This same LSE from c 2008, accepted generous donations from that despot, Colonel Gaddafi of Libya. £1.5m over five years for starters.

The LSE then entered into a contract worth £2.2m to train Libyan officials and awarded a very dubious PhD to a Gaddafi son.

An LSE cap was awarded to another member of the family which had previously been awarded to Nelson Mandela!

Another ridiculous example of over-woking.

When UK Christian Uni students go away to non-Christian countries to study, I wonder if they neutralise their religious references?

No, of course not, because they’re still awake as opposed to awoke like the LSE and many other UK seats of learning!

But then, of course, we should remember that those establishments rely upon overseas students for their survival.
