Last chance to vote for miracle pets
I had the difficult job of selecting six brave dogs and cats from hundreds of heart-warming entries after a nationwide search.
But now it’s up to the public to decide who wins.
The finalists have all beaten death by a whisker thanks to the expertise of their vet teams, their owner’s devotion and of course the pet’s own survival spirit.
In no particular order, the finalists are:

Hide AdHoney the cat – blasted in the face with a marble-sized metal ball-bearing.
n Ozzy the cat – lost his leg after being attacked by a dog.
n Penny the Pointer – lived to tell the tale after a 50mph collision with a lorry.
n Ruby the kitten – suffered severe chemical burns to her head and back.

Hide Adn Suki the Miniature Schnauzer – was left with prolapsed intestines after a dog attack.
n Ziggy the Staffie – survived being shot through the head with a crossbow.
