Northern Ballet takes Sheffield Lyceum audience on engaging dance through life of Victoria
The action flits back and forwards through Victoria’s life as the older Beatrice, beautifully danced by Pippa Moore, discovers more about her parents while editing her late mother’s diaries. There are some lovely moments where Beatrice dances with her younger self (Miki Akuta).
Abigail Prudames does a wonderful job portraying Victoria from a young princess to an ageing widowed monarch besotted with charismatic John Brown (Mlindi Kulashe).
