Man treated by paramedics after ‘out of control’ Sheffield bonfire spreads to garage
and live on Freeview channel 276
Crews were called to City Road, Sheffield at 1.13am yesterday and found a detached domestic garage well alight.
The fire is believed to have been sparked by ash from a nearby bonfire.

Hide AdAn ambulance was deployed to the scene and a man in his 30s was treated by paramedics after inhaling smoke.
South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said crews spent around an hour dealing with the incident.
“Firefighters attended and extinguished the fire,” the brigade said.
“One man in his 30s required an ambulance as he was suffering from smoke inhalation.

Hide Ad“The fire was dealt with by 2.23am and is believed to have started accidentally. The cause was ash from a nearby bonfire that I believe had got out of control, henceforth setting the garage alight.”
The fire did not spread to any houses.
