Woman 'brought down safely' from bridge near Sheffield city centre

Officers were called to the bridge at Park Square Roundabout, beside Sheffield Parkway, yesterday at 5.13pm, following reports of concern for the 46-year-old woman.
A number of police vehicles attended the scene, where officers remained in place for well over an hour, and trams had to be suspended.

Hide AdA spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Police today said: “The bridge was closed while officers responded to the incident. The woman was brought down safely.”
