This drugs farm was uncovered by South Yorkshire police in a raid in Sheffield this afternoon.

Officers from South Yorkshire Police’s Sheffield North East neighbourhood policing team carried out a warrant in Wincobank, finding plants inside the building.

A spokesman said: “This afternoon officers from the team discovered a cannabis factory in Wincobank. Enquires are ongoing to establish those responsible who can expect a visit from us soon. The production and sale of drugs funds organised crime and violence in the community which we are committed to tackling.”
