Teens with fake guns hunted by police in Sheffield for terrorising bus drivers and passengers

After repeated incidents on the Firth Park estate, bus companies First South Yorkshire and Stagecoach withdrew some services earlier this week.
South Yorkshire Police said drivers have been ‘threatened’ by the yobs and some buses have been damaged.

Hide AdThe force said: “Police are working with First and Stagecoach bus companies following reports of teenagers using imitation firearms to cause fear and distress to bus drivers and passengers.
“Alongside drivers being threatened we have received reports of criminal damage being caused to buses.
“This type of behaviour will not be tolerated in our communities and everyone has the right to go to work without fear.
“We are conducting extensive enquiries, including reviewing CCTV footage to identify those responsible.”
