South Yorkshire Police said that at 9pm on July 16, a takeaway delivery driver had parked his car to collect an order in Bawtry Road, Bramley.
When he returned to his car, a man, unknown to the victim, is reported to have been stood taking pictures of the vehicle.

When the driver challenged the man, it is reported that he became aggressive and began racially insulting the driver.

The delivery driver returned to his car, and it is reported that the man he had been involved in the earlier exchange with began kicking the vehicle but stopped when the restaurant staff intervened.
South Yorkshire Police said: “The takeaway driver was unharmed but left understandably shaken by the incident.
“Officers have issued this image in a bid to identify the man, who may hold vital information to the ongoing investigation.”
