Sheffield Crown Court proceedings delayed after reports of positive Covid-19 trace

Barristers, legal staff and those connected with the day’s listed cases have been forced to wait outside the court building on West Bar this morning awaiting updates from court staff.
An undisclosed report indicated there may have been evidence of a Covid-19 trace from a possible externally-diagnosed case linked to an individual at the court.At 10.40am, Sheffield Crown Court announced it will remain closed until 1.30pm today.
