Second man charged with murder of Ramey Salem after fatal shooting in Sheffield

Aaron Yanbeck, aged 18, of Abbeydale Road, was charged yesterday over the murder of 20-year-old Ramey Salem, who was shot dead last Monday.
Ramey, who was also known as Remey Saleh, suffered multiple gunshot wounds in a house on Grimesthorpe Road South, Burngreave.

Hide AdHe was taken to hospital but could not be saved and was pronounced dead a short time later.
Murder suspect Yanbeck has also been charged with conspiracy to murder at Osgathorpe Park, Pitsmoor, on October 31, conspiracy to possess a firearm with intent to endanger life between October 3 and November 17 as well as possession of an offensive weapon.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court today.
Jabari Fanty, 18, of Broadhead Road, Deepcar, was charged with the same offences on Monday and appeared at court yesterday, where he was remanded in custody ahead of a hearing at Sheffield Crown Court.

Hide AdTwo men, aged 18 and 21, remained in police custody last night after being arrested over the weekend on suspicion of murder.
A 21-year-old man arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder and a 33-year-old man arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice last Thursday have been released under investigation.
