Hide AdOne kept watch while the other took ladders from the vehicle, which he put up against the front bay window before repositioning the CCTV camera, after which both men returned to the van which was driven off.
PCSO Kenneth Blake, of the Sheffield South West neighbourhood policing team, said: “A check of the vehicle number shows the plates were stolen recently in the Derbyshire area.
“Local residents are asked to be extra vigilant and should this vehicle be seen then they are to contact South Yorkshire Police asap giving location/occupants.”
