Police keep up visible presence in Page Hall following New Year's Eve disturbance

South Yorkshire Police confirmed that officers will continue to patrol the Page Hall area but said that there is “no on going situation or further disturbances anticipated.”
It comes after police and ambulance crews were called to Willoughby Street, in Page Hall, in the early hours of January 1 following reports of a disturbance.

Hide AdFive men were arrested as a result of the disorder all of whom have been bailed pending further enquiries.
A 37-year-old man suffered injuries to his wrists, a 12-year-old girl was found unconscious and a three-year-old girl suffered minor injuries, police added.
An empty house on neighbouring Robey Street was recently turned into a police base for a new team set up to tackle issues which are currently plaguing the area such as fly-tipping, noise complaints and anti-social behaviour.
