Men knocked off scooter in Sheffield flee scene - but return moments later with a knife

They were involved in a collision with a car at the junction of Upper Hanover Street and Glossop Road at around 12.15pm on Monday, September 14.
The men got up off the ground and sped off from the crash scene on the scooter they were riding.

Hide AdThey then returned a few minutes later and drove past the crash scene with one of the men brandishing a knife.
The men have not yet been traced.
South Yorkshire Police said: “An investigation is underway after a collision in Sheffield earlier this week in which a motorist was reportedly threatened with a knife.
“The incident happened close to Upper Hanover Street in the city centre.
“Shortly before 12.25pm on Monday, a black Vauxhall Insigna is said to have been in collision with a scooter being ridden by two men.

Hide Ad“It’s believed that the riders of the scooter didn’t stop at the scene after the initial collision, but returned soon after and threatened the driver of the Insignia with a knife.
“The woman was not injured during the incident.
“Enquiries are now ongoing to identify and locate those riding the scooter.
“If you were in the area on Monday afternoon and witnessed the collision or either vehicle involved, please get in touch.”
