On Friday, Sheffield Crown Court heard he suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder and depression after serving in Afghanistan.
He said he had received death threats and his car had been vandalised, after his appearance at Sheffield Magistrates Court, on August 20, when Froggatt, 38, of Elm Court, Worsborough Bridge, Barnsley, pleaded guilty to three counts of making indecent images of children.
Recorder Mark McKone said it was a serious offence, which carries up to three years in prison.

The judge sentenced him to eight months, suspended for two years, and made him the subject of a Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
He was also placed on the Sex Offenders Register for ten years.
