Former Sheffield Hallam student and Disneyland worker dies in horror crash

Courtney Davies, 24, was pronounced dead at the scene after her red MG car was involved in a pile up with a red Mercedes HGV, a black Renault Clio and an orange BMW on Monday, 14 December.
Tragic Courtney, who completed a degree in events management, was travelling on the A15 in Lincolnshire when the crash happened at around 5.40pm, just north of Caenby Corner.

Hide AdEmergency services rushed to the scene, but nothing could be done to save her, police said.
Courtney, who was born in Kentucky in the USA, had a "remarkable life" which she lived to the full, her family said in a tribute.
As a child, she moved to England with her family - dad Trevor, mum Ginny and twin sisters Amy and Emma - and attended Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School in Horncastle, Lincolnshire.
Her family said: "Courtney worked at Disneyland, Florida and was an events manager at the time of her death.

Hide Ad"She also had a lovely singing voice and sang all the time.”
They added: "She brought light, joy and a smile to everyone she met and will be greatly missed by her family, friends and colleagues."
A Lincolnshire Police spokesperson said: “We are appealing for anyone who was travelling on the A15 north of Caenby Corner immediately prior to the collision and may have seen any of the vehicles involved, or has dashcam footage or the collision itself.”
