Fire crews kept busy across Doncaster with number of overnight blazes

Fire crews across Doncaster were kept busy overnight attending to a series of overnight blazes.

A vehicle fire at 7:55pm on the hard shoulder of the A1 at junction 38 was dealt with by firefighters from Adwick, while a crew from Doncaster were called to a tyre fire which had been started deliberately. The crew were called at 10:05pm to Doncaster Road, Kirk Sandall.

At 10:50pm, a load of rubbish was deliberately set on fire on Linden Grove, Edlington with crews from Edlington station attendinf.

A van was deliberately set on fire at 3:55am on Wright Crescent, Wombwell with firefighters from Dearne attending.

Crews from Rossington station attended a vehicle fire on Central Drive, New Rossington at 4:50am. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew left the scene at 5:35am.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 5:10am this morning on Radburn Road, New Rossington, Doncaster. Doncaster firefighters attended. They left at 5:50am.
