Batemoor murder: Bowshaw Close sealed off by police as murder probe is launched and two men are arrested

Emergency services were called to Bowshaw Close, Batemoor, at 11pm yesterday following the discovery of a man with life threatening injuries.
The man, who has not yet been named but is believed to be in his 50s, was pronounced dead a short time later.

Hide AdTwo men, aged 34 and 20-years-old, have been arrested on suspicion of murder and are in police custody this morning.
South Yorkshire Police said: “Two men have been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a man in Sheffield.
“Emergency services were called at around 11pm on Saturday, July 23 to Bowshaw Close, Sheffield, where a man, believed to be in his 50s, had been found with life-threatening injuries.
“Sadly, he was pronounced dead a short time later. His family has been informed.

“Police officers are in the Bowshaw Close area carrying out their initial enquiries and are keen to hear from anyone with information about what happened.”
