Police have arrested a 16-year-old boy after a man was assaulted and robbed in Sheffield.

At around 5.45pm last Tuesday (November 10) it is reported that a man was walking along Park Grange Croft in Heeley when he was approached by two youths.

The pair are said to have assaulted him before taking his bag before running off.

South Yorkshire Police said they had arrested a 16-year-old boy today (Wednesday, November 18) on suspicion of robbery.

He remains in police custody at this time.
