Car crashes into bollards outside Debenhams in Sheffield city centre

Emergency services are currently in attendance at The Moor in Sheffield after a car ‘crashed into bollards’ outside Debenhams.

Police received a call at around 12:32pm this afternoon (Friday, January 3) following a collision involving a black Estate car.

The driver of the vehicle, a 52-year-old male, is being taken to hospital after suffering a ‘medical episode’ and crashing into the bollards.

Nobody else is understood to have been hurt, said South Yorkshire Police.

Motorists are warned to expect delays in the area.
