Arsonists set fire to two vehicles within a few streets of each other in Barnsley.

Yobs set alight a car in Station Road, Dodworth, at 11.50pm on Friday and then set fire to a van in nearby Jermyn Croft at 1.40am on Saturday.

Firefighters from Barnsley Central Station put both fires out. A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said it was believed to be arson.
