These are three places were you can enjoy some flipping good pancakes in Sheffield this Pancake Day

Whether you prefer pancakes savoury or sweet, there are plenty of places you can go to dine on or around February 25.
Specialist pancake and waffle house The Cabin, on Fitzwilliam Gate in the city centre, are releasing a new and improved menu ready for pancake day.

Hide AdThere will be banoffee pancakes, which have caramel maple sauce, banana, biscuit and whipped cream, and vegan banana bread pancakes, which are made using oatmeal, chocolate chip batter and topped with banana, a dusting of cinnamon and served with a jug of real maple syrup.
If people fancy a savoury option, there is the signature Works, with sausage, egg and bacon. Other savoury dishes include Mexican chicken and maple mushrooms.
For those who cannot decide what topping they want, there is an option to build a pancake stack. There are fruity toppings, chocolate toppings, and savoury options to suit all tastes. There are also gluten free and vegan options available.
The Cabin is also extending its opening hours on Pancake Day, from 8am to 8pm, with last orders at 7pm.

Hide AdAnother city centre eatery, Bill’s Restaurant and Bar, has e created a new pancake menu that will be available from tomorrow to March 1.
Savoury pancake toppings include poached eggs, feta and avocado. There are also vegan pancakes with roast tomato, black olives, spinach and purple basil pesto. Savoury pancakes cost £8.95 or £9.95.
Sweet pancake toppings include classic lemon and sugar, with a vegan option available, and indulgent caramelised banana and salted caramel ice cream with chocolate sauce and toasted almonds. Sweet pancakes are £5.95.
Popular bakery Forge Bakehouse, on Abbeydale Road, is also running a ‘build your own’ sourdough pancake menu, with a few little suggestions from its own kitchen.

Hide AdPancakes start at £7.50 with three toppings, but more can be added. Toppings include yorkshire rhubarb, chocolate sauce, banana, hazelnuts, espresso whipped cream, raspberry compote and even fried chicken. The menu will run from Pancake Day to March 1.
