Popular Sheffield restaurant and nightspot reveals reopening date

Church – Temple of Fun in Neepsend closed in March as the country went into lockdown, and customers have been eagerly waiting for a reopening date ever since.
Their prayers were answered tonight after the vegan bar, eatery and arcade posted a date on its Facebook page – 29.08.20 – with the message ‘soon’.

Hide AdThe news was greeted with delight by dozens of people excited to return to the Rutland Road venue.
The venue was set up two years ago by Oliver Sykes, the frontman of South Yorkshire-based rock band Bring Me The Horizon, who is vegan himself.
Since opening it has been named one of the top vegan restaurants and bars in the UK, with website GoHen describing it as ‘one of the coolest spaces we’ve seen’.
