COUNCIL chiefs in Sheffield are writing to residents in Broomhill to tell them about improvements due to be made to a local green space.
Victoria Park, which is tucked in behind the Parkers Lane car park, next to The Nottingham House pub, is set to be spruced up with new paths, plantings and street furniture.

The council's parks and countryside department have been working closely with the Friends of Victoria Park and a landscape architect from the council's environmental planning department to develop proposals to improve the site for the benefit of local people.
