Stocksbridge High School is reportedly without hot water or heating today as Sheffield remains in the grip of a subzero cold snap.

As a result, the academy in Shay House Lane has told all students not to come in today, with work set through online classrooms much like during the pandemic.

It comes as temperatures will sit at -2C for much of Tuesday before dropping as low as -5C tomorrow.
