A popular cocktail and chicken wings bar could soon be coming to Sheffield.

Bunk, which already runs venues in Derby and Nottinghamshire, has applied to open a new branch on Carver Street at the former home of Paris nightclub, which closed in November last year.

A licensing application submitted to Sheffield Council lists the proposed opening hours as 10am-3am, with alcohol on sale until 2am.

Bunk, whose existing venues serve food until closing time and have a happy hour until 10pm each day, is rated 4.8 out of five stars on Facebook.

Its cocktails include sweet concoctions featuring childhood favourites like Parma Violets and Drumstick lollies, alongside more grown-up classics like mojitos and cosmopolitans.

Bunk’s wings are available with sauces ranging from maple and bourbon to an explosive Naga Viper chilli variety, while other dishes include Icelandic-style beer-soaked hot dogs and chicken burgers.
